Looking for full-scope college planning guidance and support for your child with no limit on the number of hours, then this package is for you! This package is best for parents who have limited time, the child has unique circumstances, or it would be best to have someone other than the parents work with the child.

If you have a good understanding of college planning but are looking for limited guidance on some aspects of the process, then this package will suit your needs. You choose which topics you need support with.

Combined with a video series and 6 one-on-one targeted meetings, this package guides students through select aspects of college planning, including college visits, selecting recommenders, high school courses, standardized testing, one personal essay review, and an application review. Plus, you get one hour for any topic of your choice.

The hourly option is for families who have a limited number of college planning questions. There is a minimum of 2 hours to start, and then appointments may be scheduled for one hour at a time. Appointments are prepaid via Venmo.

Some families understand the college planning process, but they would like support with their child's application essays. This package includes 12 hours of personal essay and supplemental essay support. The package can be tailored to your needs if there are a small number of essays.

Part of a group where you would like a presentation on a college planning topic? Sample topics include an overview of the college planning process, preparing for college, essay writing, transferring from a community college, preparing for college as a homeschooler, attending college with learning differences, and paying for college.
Adriane has worked with many students with learning differences and mental health challenges, such as autism, ADHD, processing disorders, dyslexia, anxiety, or depression. When students have learning differences or suffer from mental illness, it is especially important to have the supports in place for a successful college experience. Adriane can help your student find colleges with a range of services. For some students, that may mean accommodations, but for other students, additional supports such as executive function programs, academic tutoring, or social integration programs are needed.

As a homeschooler, there are additional considerations when planning for college. Adriane supports homeschoolers by suggesting course plans and curricula, so parents have a solid plan to prepare their children for a successful college experience. In addition, extracurricular experiences are an important factor when planning for college, and Adriane can recommend options for students.
Most colleges are seeking a well-documented explanation of a student's homeschool journey. Adriane has guided many homeschoolers and has supported them with their college application documentation, including course descriptions, recommendation letters, a school profile, and a transcript. If you’re interested in documentation support, I offer documentation templates with 3 meetings for a low-cost fee. Documentation support is included with the comprehensive package.

Whether you’re transferring from a community college or transferring from a four-year college to another four-year college, the process requires finding a good college fit, ensuring the correct courses have been completed, completing applications, writing essays, and having the necessary documentation to verify current or past college attendance. In addition, students also want to transfer with as many credits as possible, so having a strong plan in place is important.
If you would like support with your college transfer process, Adriane can help you with this next stage of your college journey. For transfer applications, packages start at 12 hours, and additional hours can be added as needed.

Going off to college with a food allergy or food intolerance can cause anxiety for the student and parents. Like all aspects of college, it takes planning and knowing your rights.
Adriane spent several years guiding her own children with food allergies at college, and she has provided guidance to other families. Typically, just a one-hour meeting is needed for Adriane to provide information and resources for finding colleges that provide a food-safe environment.
