Mission

I am passionate about guiding students through the college planning process. For the past 5 years, I have been helping students select high school courses, discover well-suited majors and careers, research colleges and programs, determine which colleges to consider, and complete college applications. I work with students from a range of educational paths, including public and private high schools, homeschoolers, and transfer students. I have also guided students with learning differences, mental health concerns, and food allergies through the college planning process. 

I completed the UCLA Certificate in College Counseling with distinction, and I have a Master of Arts in Psychology. To better serve my students, I am a member of three professional organizations, and I attend a variety of webinars to keep up to date on changes to the application process. I also attend college information sessions and visit colleges in person to learn about the many colleges available to students. 

I reside in Maryland with my husband and young adult children, who I homeschooled through high school. Both continued with their education and graduated from college, and one attended grad school. As a family, we enjoy playing games, watching movies, and traveling. During my alone time, I enjoy reading, yoga, and completing jigsaw puzzles.
